Well not for painting but I'm going to BU for graphic design!

They sent an email yesterday saying they had heard back from everyone they had accepted and the final list was made. I didn't get in. Sad. *Edit* I was wait-listed for the 2 year programme though, maybe the 3 year one hasn't been finalised yet.

Nope! Still nothing! I'm going to email them now. The last time I emailed was two weeks ago so it shouldn't appear too bothersome.

Thanks! That's helpful. I wonder why I didn't get the same email. Yeah most probably. How annoying, they told me they'd know by the 8th so I kept having mini-heart-attacks whenever I'd get a new email! Knowing the 'actual' deadline to respond would've made me less expectant. Oh well, more waiting for me.

So I emailed RISD on the 5th asking if they have any news for the wait-listed, and they replied saying not yet; they'll know after the 8th. It's the 10th now and still no word from them.. Would it be too annoying if I email them again? I mean they did say they'll let me know as soon as possible so maybe they don't want me to keep emailing.. But on the other hand I don't want them to think I'm not interested.. Help?

Coool congrats! Were you for the 2 year GD programme at RISD or 3 year? I was waitlisted for the 2 year programme so I'm hoping I miiiiiiight get some good news sooon! Fingers crossed.

Anyone going to BU? I got into Pratt and SVA as well but BU offered the best financial aid. (None from Pratt, not much from SVA) What opinion do you guys have about BU as a university in general, and their college of fine arts? Still waiting on RISD.. Going to find out on Monday whether I made it off the waitlist or not. Hate that they're taking so long!

Only applied to SVA out of that list, and got acceptance email a few weeks back.

So U-Penn posted letters today.. I expected a rejection, but hadn't checked it yet because I wasn't at a computer and didn't remember my sign-in PIN. And then I got an email from SVA NY saying I had been accepted! I was super happy for a while because I thought the interview had been a little awkward, but yeah. I just came to my computer and saw that I'd gotten rejected from U-Penn. Still happy about SVA though!

Nope! Not a word! I read through their confirmation email that says when they make their decision and it says "any time between Mid-to-late March, with most people getting a response by the 1st of April" Still, so eerily silent on their part. Have any Pratt communication design people had interviews, or any contact at all from the school?

No idea. Still waiting on BU too! According to last year's thread, people started hearing back during the first week of March! Should be soon.

Heard from SVA today!

I got an email from SVA a few hours ago scheduling an interview. I applied for the MFA Design programme! Super stoked! Dunno about the Fine Art programme though.

Well I've scheduled my interview with RISD! Getting a little nervous as it gets closer, but oh well. I'll be glad when it's over! Anyone else interviewing with RISD?

Nope! Just an email on the 14th of Feb saying that they've received all my application documents and are reviewing applicants and will make their decision by mid-to late March, and let us know by the 1st of April!

Okay, so who knows what kind of questions RISD asks during the interview? Does anyone have any tips?
