Hey hey! I got the email for RISD interview! I had actually received it about 9 hours ago but my blackberry decided to act up this morning and I didn't check my mail online till right now! I had no idea I had this awesome bit of news waiting for me in my inbox! Aaah wish me luck guys!

I got an email from Pratt a few hours ago titled: An Important Message about your Pratt Application But it was just random stuff about how they've received all the necessary documents and they'll make their decisions by mid-to-late March. I haven't checked my snail-mail in a while! I should. I actually began this whole process thinking I would get accepted everywhere I applied to.. But after the Yale rejection and the silence from U-Penn (expected rejection) I'm starting to lose confidence. I didn't realise it was this difficult, to be honest. Ah well.. Another month and bit to go before this is all over I guess!

Do international students apply for fasfa too? Or is it just for US citizens? Is that the only way to get funding for RISD? I'm so confused D:

@ All RISD hopefuls: On or before March 24th! That's what it says on their facebook page so we have a long left time to wait!

I've applied to UIC but the one that's in Basel, Switzerland. Is that what you were contacted for?

I know this thread is primarily about colleges in the US, but does anyone know anything about Central Saint Martins in London? They don't have an application deadline or a date by which they notify you if you've been accepted, listed on their website, so I'm a little confused.

I haven't heard back from U-Penn about an interview but a lot of people here seem to have.. I guess it's safe to assume I've been rejected >.< It was a long shot though. RISD is my #1 choice.

I so wish I had known about this forum during the whole application process! It would've been nice to have been part of this mass-freak-out-session.

Has anyone heard anything from: RISD U-Penn School of Visual Arts NY Boston University Pratt The Basel School of Design / University of Illinois at Chicago yet? Why is February going by so slowly! I thought choosing portfolio pieces and writing my statement and making my resume was the hard part.. The wait is worse!
