Years of Work Experience: 0.5 Describe Relevant Work Experience and International Experience: Volunteered at the Kenya Human Rights Commission in Nairobi this past summer as well as serving as a Research Assistant second semester of my Junior year (on the Arab Spring).
Strength of SOP (be honest, describe the process, etc): To be honest, I rushed my first two apps, so the only SOP I feel happy about is SIPA. I have trouble with open-ended SOPs, thus Columbia's was a lot easier for me to write on.
Strength of LOR (be honest, describe the process, etc): All of my LOR are solid. One of mine is from a highly regarded professor here who has done work assisting with various constitutions (Egypt, South Sudan, etc.) and writes editorials for the New York Times.
Long story short: Don't really expect to get in to any of these schools without work experience. Thought I'd give it a shot as I'd much rather get all of my schooling out of the way and not have to go back after entering the working world.
