sorry but you're wrong I registered this morning because I saw people thought it was trolling and wanted to reassure people it was real.... the email was from Mika LaVaque-Manty, Director of Graduate Admissions Seriously, I was just trying to be helpful which is why I registered when I saw this thread.

mine said that too though and I just got an acceptance so I wouldn't worry about it!

my sub field is comparative, though the email came in a kind of generic format rather than from a POI
