Congrats on everyone's acceptance to UW!

I had a week to pay and accept my USC offer but it was all done online.

Congrats, is that your number one school?

I went and checked my application online and underneath where it says submitted it also says "congratulations on your acceptance to USC" good luck & please keep us posted!

I received an email from someone at USC- I don't know if its because I applied to the VAC. I have until the 4th of March to accept. I already declined my interview with BU. I applied originally Dec 17 but my application wasn't complete until Jan 22. I have not bothered to check what I says online.

I'm a Trojan!!! I just got accepted via email to USC! I will start in the May cohort VAC.

Congrats on retirement! I wouldn't mind doing a traditional program but we are about to PCS and the instability of the needs of the Navy is just too much. Thank you again for all the info & best of luck with your future endeavors!

The military subconcentration. I grew up in the military and am still a part of it as a service members spouse. I just feel this strong need to support future military families.

That was the January 15th date? Are you doing VAC? How did they notify you? Sorry for so many questions- I only applied to USC and you're the first person that I know of to be accepted w/o advance standing.

I'm applying for the May cohort sooo hopefully I should be hearing something soon. The wait is horrible. I submitted my application Dec 17 but it wasn't complete and submitted until Jan 22. I really don't want to consider another school besides USC.

Amazingly put MSW13! I think it is especially so with this type of focus since everyone brings a unique perspective.

Lizalicious- I am not an advance standing student but I also applied to MSW@USC and was told that we should know by the end of February or early March. The wait is killing me.

Hi I read your post in the experience topic. I can understand where you are coming from. I also applied to USC to their virtual campus. On resume my experience seems decent however the wait is making me second guess my chances. I only applied to one grad school.

Definitely MSW13 USC has admitted students without an undergrad degree in social work related focuses! Good luck all!

I have extensive experience in group work. I understand the military community which is a population I am very interested in working with. I have a lengthy volunteer resume that includes United Way, AmeriCorps, HandsOn, Girl Scouts, Illinois School Board of Education, and I have just started assisting in a collaborative effort with the Chicago Bears for volunteer work in my county. Academically, I have a solid GPA and I graduated first in my degree program.

Gradschoolmom- good luck! I may be in the fall cohort- I applied for an earlier cohort incase I have to defer for a session. My husband is active duty and we may be moving during the summer.

Adri H 2-4 is about the feb/march time frame- I'm so impatient
