I think all schools notify applicants about admissions decisions based on the qualifications of the applicants. Obviously, schools will hit the best guy up first and the worst guy last (if it is the case, sometimes they don't even bother to let the rejected application know.) your example maybe just a coincidence.

I just wanna "call you up every Saturday night" and say "hello, is it me you're looking for" or "tell me how to win your heart, for i haven't got a clue" and "you're all i ever wanted" T.T

Hi everyone, I'm applying for a Physics degree at Brandeis University. Based on the information and statistics from previous years, applicants should have heard back by now. However, I haven't heard anything from Brandeis. I emailed the Admissions Coordinator and asked. She said that Brandeis Physics Department had made 2 offers at the beginning of February and invited some applicants to their Open House, and I wasn't one of them. That left me wondering, for very obvious reasons, that I'm not of their interest. Is being invited to Open House a mandatory step or an indicator to an acceptance, or am I just worrying too much? Thank you for your time.

Mostly I watch everything I find interesting on Netflix. 4 seasons of Breaking Bad, 3 seasons of The Walking Dead, and 2 season of Surviving the Cut so far. Working out as much as I can, sometimes boxing to release the heat. Tried real hard to focus on school but I guess it is impossible for now.
