Anyone else still waiting for Wake Forest? It is the last one I am waiting for, I got shot down by my #1 and unfortunately did not apply to many backups so I am really stuck until I know my options.

I don't really understand the question- It depends what degree you want, which depends on what you want the degree for. I applied to both because I like to delay making such decisions as long as possible. If you only applied to them because you wanted a safety net in case you didn't get into a PhD program, it sounds like your decision is already made.

I am still very optimistic. Someone in my group applied last year and got an acceptance on I think the 14th. I didn't apply until a few hours before the deadline so I sort of expected mine to go down to the last minute.

my plan b involves jumping off something really tall
