I will throw this out there for everyone, but I am also looking for a roommate for summer! I am looking to live in upper east side in the village which is brand new and a little pricier than some places. I think rent for two people is 1800 (900 each). I am open to living other places too, probably in the village.

You should contact Dr. Stillman. They are actually on spring break this week, though. I doubt they will be making decisions, but I could be wrong. I know Dr. Stillman is on vacation. If you contact them next week, they will be back in session! Hope this helps, daisynic !

Ahhhh just got an email of acceptance from Vandy! I am so surprised I got in!

Someone will be getting my spot on UT Austin, as I will be attending elsewhere! Waitlists definitely will move, so don't lose hope!

I got accepted to ut austin but am probably going to Dallas so someone on the waitlist can have my spot! Thanks! I did wanna do better on the verbal section, but I am happy with my score overall! And I am sure they will be!! I am not sure if I am going there yet, especially if they can't offer in state tuition, so another spot may be opening up! But I will see.

Guys, I JUST GOT ACCEPTED TO CHAPEL HILL! I didn't think I was going to get in.

I thought most schools started letting applicants know around March 15. I am not expected to hear much until then. I don't know though, I am really thinking UTD will be the place for me. It will take a lot to convince me otherwise. And I was so set on Chapel Hill or Vandy last fall.... Things change. And things still could! Congrats to everyone who got acceptances this week!

I am not so much anxious about getting accepted somewhere as I am about making the decision. It is going to be so tough because I love all the programs I am applying for for different reasons. And I really wish I had time and the resources to visit more of them before I make my decision. Most of mine don't notify applicants until March 15th. I am not enjoying the wait, but it isn't making me anxious per se. :-) Just extremely eager!

Ah me too, tChris! It will be so exciting when we start hearing back! Maybe we can figure out roomies for apartments this way.

Thanks to those who did apply to my question last year. Well, this girl has now got her applications in and is waiting til March. When that time comes, you better believe I may be contacting some of you to learn more about certain programs. Hope y'all are loving grad school! :D

Wow, I am quite scared now looking at this! I am a junior so I'll be applying for grad school next year. I am looking at USF, UF, TCU, UNC-CH, UVA, Vandy, UM College Park, UGA, James Madison, and UNC Greensboro. My first choice is UNC-Chapel Hill, but from what I gather, it is nearly impossible to get in. My GPA is currently 4.0, and I took a practice GRE and got 161/ 160. I am wondering if anyone DID get into UNC CH. Any suggestions? Also, can anyone offer advice about James Madison, UNC Greensboro, UF, UGA, TCU, USF, UVA, or UM College Park? I know very little about these programs, so am just looking for overall opinions or wisdom in general. It is quite a lengthy list, and I ideally would only want to apply to 6-7 schools... Thanks!!
