Is anyone else applying to this program? Does anyone else find it strange that it's not required to enclose any supporting documents with the application?
No. I applied for a Fulbright last year and was given alternate candidate status, but at this point in my life I'm more concerned about doing graduate work and working towards building my career. I received notification from the Fulbright commission last year around the 26th or so.
I know. That's my line of reasoning too. I was trying to pass the buck to someone else. It seems as though last years applicants were also told they would hear at the end of March/April, but they ended up hearing back in early March.
Nerves, nerves, nerves.
Hello all,
Am also waiting to hear back about a study scholarship. I applied for a Fulbright last year, was awarded alternate status (which was heartbreaking) and so I applied for a DAAD this year. Am hoping to do a comparative study of Medieval English and German literature at the Freie Uni Berlin. Best of luck to everyone.
I just wanted to start a thread to touch base with those who applied for a DAAD Graduate Study Scholarship for the 2013/2014 academic year. Where do others hope to study? What did others propose to study?
