  1. I also emailed them and finally got my rejection. The waiting for the past month made it even worse. Don't know why they had to put us through this.
  2. No interview, no word at all. nmikats2- did it sounds like they'd be sending them out soon? I was hoping they'd do it today!
  3. On March 11 I emailed Berkeley about my DrPH decision status, and they responded saying I would know "within 2 weeks".
  4. I applied to Berkeley DrPH-- no word yet. Very annoying....
  5. Has anyone heard from Berkeley? The wait is killing me!
  6. I applied to the CHS program at UCLA a few years ago and the same thing happened to me! But I ended up getting accepted (and going there) so don't let it startle you too much. In terms of the support you get at UCLA, I found staff to always be very approachable, friendly, and supportive. However, this is all with the understanding that you're at a fairly large public university where no one is going to hold your hand. As long as you are on top of your work, you'll find the administrative staff to be a great help to you. Best of luck!
  7. MammaD- I have been thinking the same thing.. I spent hundreds and hundreds of dollars on application fees, transcripts, rush orders (thanks SOPHAS), etc.- I deserve a rejection dammit!!! But really, it feels like this weird period of anxiety will never end. I mean, they have to tell us though, right? They do.
  8. I applied to Berkeley Dr.PH, and I emailed them last week. They said decisions will be sent out around March 1. Congrats on UCLA, superpug! I got my MPH in Community Health Sciences from there and loved it.
  9. Berkeley DrPH program told me they will send acceptances out by March 1. That's this Friday-- eek!!
  10. Question- How much contact have you have had with faculty at schools you applied to? Did you have a connection with a professor/faculty member at every school? Or were there any schools that you applied without any connections? Just curious what people's experiences have been like, or what your opinion is on that issue. Good luck to all!
  11. I'll throw my scenario into the mix: I've applied for Dr.PH at Berkeley and Boston U, and Ph.D in Behavioral Science (or their equivalent) at Harvard and Johns Hopkins. I have heard NOTHING. I've written a rhyming haiku, because I've clearly gone crazy. Valentine's Day Blues Why can't schools give me more clues? At least I have booze
