Well, we're speculating in full gear now, so I'll add my two cents. I got the dates confirmation email even though my program doesn't start until January. Perhaps it's like college admissions where they have immediate no's, then they do a big cut, and then whittle through the rest.

Geez, did everyone make a mistake on their application? I guess it's at least good that they check these things carefully.

Aaaaahhhh... the wait for Harvard is killing me. Harvard and Princeton, what are you guys doing???? I see someone on the results list commented that Harvard is "hoping to release decisions by the week of March 4." Anyone know anything? Applied: 8 Accepted: U of Mich, Berkeley, Columbia, Stanford, MIT Rejected: Yale (maybe they heard me bad-mouthing their China program) Awaiting: Harvard, Princeton
