Hi all,
I'm about to transfer Universities, having done 1 year of a PhD program. I've got a new I-20 from my new school, and as far as I can tell (from online websites and the limited info my new school has offered me) that this is all I need to do - that my old visa in my passport is till valid with my new I-20 (even though it lists my old institutions). Has anyone done this in the past? Is this correct?
Thanks,
Jenny
I got accepted to Rutgers! Email from Eric Davis(who's not in my area, so presumably he's on the ad comm). Edit: And it was a personalised email referencing my application, so not a blast email for sure. And my online status still says 'no decision'.
Yup, when I emailed them they told me "March 15 if not before", so we should finally hear this week. History suggests not hearing from them in February is a bad sign, but since no one on here seems to have heard anything, they might just be taking longer with decisions this year. Painfully long wait though!
Has anyone applied to Rutgers? And if so, have you heard anything? I emailed to ask when we'd hear by and they said March 15th at the latest, but based on previous years patterns, they've alerted successful by late-ish February (certainly by now), and then rejected people much later, so wondering if they've already done their admits?
