  1. Hey guys, moving to attend the DOVA for an MFA and need help finding apartments that allow bully breeds! Breed restrictions on graduate housing is insane, I know I'm not the only one imagining on top of everything now we have to trekk miles in the snow to let our babies out to pee.... Anyone also looking for the closest non-breed restrictive housing to Hyde Park? Share any leads!
  2. I have the same situation, the transcript was marked as complete but the rutgers portal says it has not been received. Has anyone else heard from Rutgers?
  3. Hey guys, anyone have any leads on schools in the us that are strong in painting or interdisciplinary studio and have a diverse faculty? As an abstract painter I was at a loss this app go round for affordable programs with strong diverse faculty that included ANY abstract painters. Also any strong faculty interested in feminist theory or working in gender, queer, or feminist themes? Extra points for schools that offer full assistant ships and teaching opportunities. Bard's mfa was recommended to me by a painter on staff at Hunter, BUT it's a low res summer mfa, so no teaching assistantships.... Thanks for any tips!
  4. If Tyler stole your heart, what can you do! The first campus I visited stuck with me, even after visiting a bunch, instinct tends to win out. I hear time and time again that you are much less likely to regret saying "yes" to a place that speaks to you- go where you really feel you'll give it your all....and the rest will be worth it.
  5. that's great, are you familiar with the campus/city? It's an interesting choice between the two programs. As a MICA alum I'd love to see your work!
  6. Does anyone have experience applying to Bard, or know of someone who has a feel for the program? Haven't seen talk of it on here much, is that because of it being set up as a summer intensive with independent study?
