Hi Everyone, While I am still waiting to hear back from several other schools, I feel honored that I was admitted to the MPP program at UChicago. As I begin to explore my options, I am curious to get feedback from current students about the strength of the program's international policy concentration. I intend to pursue a career in the foreign service after obtaining my degree, but according to the view book, nearly half of alumni from the last two years live and work in Chicago (only 5% international). This would signal to me that the program has more of a domestic (perhaps even local) emphasis, but I would certainly be happy to hear I've misspoken. Any and all feedback from current/former students would be much appreciated! Many Thanks!

So sorry to hear the wait is causing you so much anxiety Tupacalyse, although I'm secretly comforted to know I have some company as I nervously await admissions decisions (I have yet to hear back from ANY of the five schools I applied to!) And don't let AU blame it on the "snowstorm" -- this should give you a good sense for why! (And cut the tension a bit!) Best of luck!

Pure speculation here but... Based on a results search for UChicago Harris School MPP last year, candidates found out over a period of at least two days. If everyone "should know by March 11 for certain," this would mean all decisions (admitted, waitlisted, rejected) would have to be released by then. Could we assume then that they will begin releasing decisions tomorrow? Really not trying to give anyone a heart attack, promise! I wish you all the best of luck!

As a brief distraction from obsessively checking my Inbox, I checked out the HKS Admissions blog archive for March 2012. They did a breakdown of the three decision types around the same time and then on March 13, posted this: Decision Release Update This is a quick update on the release of admission decisions. Remember, decisions are communicated by email and will be sent to the email address applicants used when applying. Today we will be releasing decisions for the following programs: Master in Public Policy (MPP) Master in Public Administration/International Development (MPA-ID)... I assume the same will be true this year. Fingers crossed we have a decision by this time next week. BEST OF LUCK EVERYONE!!

Hi Everyone, My apologies for creating a new topic, but I can't seem to find any related posts from this round of applications. Any IPS applicants for Fall 2013 out there? Just curious if anyone's heard any updates about when to expect decisions. I received an email in January indicating that nofitications will be sent early/mid-March but nothing since then.
