  1. So I will begin a MA of Japan Studies in September - and I am scared. I will be working a part time job - 15 hours a week in addition to taking 15 credits. I keep hearing (online) people saying they study 30-40 hours outside of class for graduate programs and I guess its freaked me out. I am afraid I won't have any 'me time' while in graduate school and it could lead me to a nervous break down. So I wanted to hear from all of you, how you manage your time, work in social/me time and survive the world of graduate school?
  2. I was just admitted to their Asian Studies program, but received no fellowship offers from the department. I'm kind of sadenned by this. On the other hand, I also have yet to hear from American University - but they have a large fellowship I can apply for. Ugh. Anyone know of Asian Studies/international Affairs fellowships/scholarships I can apply for?
  3. To all people who are thinking of coming to WSU DO IT! I have spent my undergraduate years here and they have been simply amazing. Its a warm and loving school. GO COUGS!!!
  4. Question... so I've applied and become a finalist for South Korea! I am worried about all these tensions with North Korea... I have some offers from graduate schools. And if everything is about to blow up with N. Korea I dunno what I should do. Any comments? Ideas?
