  1. Thank you for the information. As far as I know (of course, I don't know too much), Uptown is not a safe neighborhood. Having roommates is better than being murdered!
  2. Thank you so much for the reply. it was so helpful. What about a studio? Actually, I don't like to live with roommates. can I rant a good studio for $600-$700 per month?
  3. Hi Everyone! I'm an international student and I have never lived in the US. Since I've gotten an acceptance from LUC, I plan to come to Chicago. I'm considering to rent a 1 bedroom apartment in Rogers Park. I would be grateful if someone could guide me on the cost of renting a 1 bedroom apartment in Rogers Park. Can I rent an apartment for $700 per month? Thanks in Advance!
  4. MSU rejected me a few days ago. They would email you in a few days.
  5. Keep in mind that for an international student it's highly unlikely to receive financial aid from UCONN.
  6. Hello everyone! I have a plan to apply to US universities. because of my language abilities (I'm fluent in Farsi, Turkish, Arabic, Tajiki, and Azerbaijani) I'm looking for a university with a rich tradition in the middle east or Caucasus and central Asia studies. I know that some universities such as Chicago, Michigan, and Harvard have a great tradition in that field of study, however, because of my low GRE score, I can't apply to these universities. So, is there any political science programs which give a priority to language abilities?
  7. hello everyone I'm fluent in Persian, Turkish and Arabic, so I have a question: is it a positive point in Apply process for IR, focusing the Middle East?
