Not too surprising all things considered- there were some large obvious holes in my application. I'm a conversion student (literature to philosophy) and didn't have recs from philosophy professors. I've spent the last year working on these problems, but at the time of applying this round I only had three phil classes on my transcripts. Went for it anyways- just to see what would happen, really. I might well just wait till next year, when my application will be much (much much) stronger, but King's is showing interest, so I thought I would ask in case I have a choice to make. It's been a while since I heard from them last, so I'm not to hopeful anymore, but time will tell. Thanks all. Appreciate it

Michael Williams is sorta a big deal. They're in the upper half of the qs world rankings, and 37th according to Lieter. Good funding too. Not Oxford, sure, but not too shabby either

Got a reply earlier today. Apparently they don't keep the info, which is...troublesome. To paraphrase- most students do not go on to pursue a doctoral degree, and thus a placement record is unnecessary. Despite this, it is an excellent school, and will help your doctoral aspirations. Not sure what to make of this. If most students there aren't going for a PhD eventually, it seems the school won't have feeder connections to others and won't help one's career. On the other hand, one of the best phil departments in the UK...anyone have any thoughts/advice/anecdotal info to offer?

Haven't yet. Was planning on waiting till I heard a response before going that route, was just wondering if anyone had any helpful links.

Can anyone find this info? It's a bit expensive, but I'm a conversion student- if the placement record is strong, it might well be worth it. The only thing I've found is their PhD placement record, which isn't very helpful
