  1. Are you serious? It starts that early for the Fall term? Woah, I totally did not expect that. Now I'm even more agitated.
  2. Omg, that's great!!! Congrats~ you must be ecstatic. =) I hope I get a response soon. Totally nervous!! By the way, is it just a letter in a normal envelope, or a bigger package?
  3. Congrats! That's seriously awesome, I'm happy for you. =) I hope I get a response soon too!
  4. The person I spoke to was being very vague, apparently they have already sent out the first batch of letters last friday. I asked him if they do it by area, but he said no, it didn't matter. He told me they need time to fold the envelopes and get everything stamped, that's why it's going to take a while for some people and we should receive them in the next two weeks (again, very general), but there is a possibility that we might get it this week. (That's just mean, teasing but not confirming..) I'm guessing the window you are referring to is "waitlist"? Because according to the person, you should have received a response of some kind by the second week of April.
  5. I applied for M.ED Counselling Psychology with OISE. The department is pretty tardy on update, they told me decisions have been made and they are just gradually sending out the letters in batches, but the update online is lagging behind, meaning I don't even get a "decision made" status. Seriously irritating....the person I spoke to also told me they need time to fold envelope and get everything stamped. I know many schools process everything online even if they are sending out mail, I don't understand why the UofT system is so coy, it really sucks for us.
  6. http://www.ro.oise.utoronto.ca/RGSOff_Min_Stat3Page9.html That was the stats from last year, they had 32 people registered! And yes, hope we all get in!! I called them today actually, but they refused to tell me the status because of "security reasons." So I guess contacting them at this point is futile, waiting is the only option...ugh
  7. I contacted the department that handled my application today and that was the same response I got. Apparently, it's for security reasons. So don't fret yet! It's just how some departments at UofT do things, they want you to wait until your brain cells burn out. =/
  8. Best wishes to you too! I agree, 4 months is pretty insane, considering our deadline was Dec.3rd. I've been so jittery lately.
  9. "Counselling Psychology?...What do you do with that?....Do you like talk to people who are crazy?" "Oh..psychology...what am I thinking right now?" Those are the two that get on my nerves the most. No seriously.....
  10. You definitely ain't the only one. This week so far has been so unproductive for me it's not even funny. In fact, I'm supposed to work on my assignment right now instead of checking this site and....login into my app account for no reason other than doing it for the sake of doing it.
  11. I understand how you feel.. It's not a pleasant experience at all when everyone you know asks about your plan B when the only thing on your mind is your plan A, which is the very source of your anxiety. @MidnightRose Yay, we are applying to the same program! I think we should be getting the letters this week or next week.
