I am still thinking if I should go for PhD in Computer Science at ASU with funding for one year or MS in statistics at UIUC with no funding? Any suggestions plz??
One of my seniors pursued MSE from CMU and he is doing great now. Apart form being expensive, I think in every other aspect of academia, CMU is the best. You will have the opportunity to work with great people and on great topics of research. UMN is also good in CS but given the job prospects and other opportunities, CMU is good compared to UMN.
Hi
I got into UIUC for MS in statistics program and also got Erasmus Mundus Fellowship to pursue PhD in Computer Science. Which one do you think will be good for getting good positions in software industry? I already have an MS degree in Computer Science (from an average university). Your suggestions are appreciated!
Thanks!
Hi..
I am an international student who applied for PhD program at the Computer Science department, UBC. There are some results on gradcafe mentioning that their application decision was known through website. But for me, there is no link given during the application submission where I can check the status of my application. Could you let me know how are you viewing your decisions?
Thanks!
