Hi Salix! I'm going to move to Miami in August for FIU at the MMC campus. Are there neighborhoods you recommend near there and/or neighborhoods that are a decent commute to get there?

I applied January 15 to CSULA and hadn't heard anything so I figured they lost my app or something! Then I was notified via regular mail of acceptance this past Friday. So good news for people still waiting who think it's been awhile!

I applied to Cal State LA by the January 15 deadline, but have yet to finish my application for FIU, which is due on June 1st. Is anyone else in a similar situation with a late deadline? I keep checking on the acceptance updates in the application thread and panicking since I haven't sent out this other app. Thank you! Oh and side question -- anyone else applying to the FIU MSW program? My family moved to Florida last year and I would love to go too!
