I am still waiting like you but not the same universities
Maryland College Park, UCSB (ECE)
UCLA, UC Irvine and UIUC (CS)
Louisville: waiting for funding
For me I many mistakes,
but the best two was:
writing my birthday wrong as it's November 12
And in my country we usually write the day first, and in the application it was the month at first
And I didn't know why didn't they match my application with my transcripts till I figured out this mistake
the second one was while sending the TOEFL score
I have finished my application one month before the deadline and sent my scores,
but they usually take sometime to update the online system
So, I didn't care about not updating my status
Till I found after the deadline that I have sent the score to a wrong institution in the same city with a similar name
I had a small chat with a Professor at UMD CS last December
and he told me that all PhD students get 2 years TAship in the beginning (so I think it might be beside the fellowship for some applicants)
For me, I can not even contact the POI.
I have a friend in UCLA already and he couldn't reach this professor.
So, I don't expect too much but I don't want to lose hope
I was asking about the status in the graduate admission facebook page
And I got the following reply:
"Thank you for your continued interest in UCLA. We hope to email admission announcements to all Ph.D. applicants February 1-28 and to all M.S. applicants March 1-31. Thank you very much for your patience and assistance."
and then they announced at the page the same thing:

I think what really counts is how your experience related to the field and projects of interest (wheather it's industry or academic)
otherwise, I think any experience will add small contributions into your application.
I received an email stating that I have been recommended for admission from the international center.
So, I think that the action meant that It was delayed till the international center decides.
Hello everyone,
