    Nothing is more frustrating than shopping for glasses when you have the facial measurements of a child and a -7 prescription (yeah, I'm blind as well as deaf). Seriously considering using my student loans to get LASIK.

      a friend did the laser thing, and his eyes are always dry and irritating. not sure if part of the recovery process, doctor screwup, or specific to the individual. this was a mexican doctor btw

      Haha! If it weren't for modern technology, I might as well BE Helen Keller. Good news, I looked online and the frames I got do come in a smaller size so I think I will try those first before abandoning my eyeglasses search. As for dry and irritated eyes, my eyes are like that anyway from wearing contacts 24/7!
