  1. I am going to IUB, too. We will be classmate there. Look forward to meeting you at IUB!
  2. acoustic_mayhem? ?Congratulations on your final decision! I am going to IUB. I think we share the same interests in sociology. I like economic sociology and political sociology. Besides, I am also interested in quantitative methods and stratification. Any way, I wish you the best in your graduate study at UNC.
  3. Is there anyone who has got admitted to Soc at JHU and would NOT accept this offer? Would you please decline the offer ASAP if you would NOT go to JHU. I am waiting for a slot to be opened in order to leave the waiting list and get the offer. You know, 4.15 is approaching, so I need your prompt answer and action. I will highly appreciate it if you could do so.
  4. Me too! I am very anxious to know the result, no matter what it is. To tell the truth, I really want to get admitted to Upenn!
  5. I am now on the waiting list of Johns Hopkins. I wonder whether the chance of getting admitted is large.
  6. I have applied upenn, yale, jhu, etc. I have been accepted by IUB, so only the three I mentioned above still attract me.
  7. Why the staff at Cornell told me last week that they were still viewing applications??? Anyway, congratulations to you for your offer from Cornell!
  8. It's very kind of you! Look forward to further information from you! The same to you: good luck with the rest of your applications.
  9. Hello everyone, I am an international applicant from China. Now I have receive rejections from Wisc-Madison and Vanderbilt  . Fortunatey, I also received an offer from Indiana U-Bloomington. You know, as in China, I could not get much knowledge about graduate programs in sociology in the U.S. Could anyone provide some information about IUB and the sociology graduate program there? My interest lies in quantitative method stratification, social movement and mathematical sociology. Nice to meet every one here! Best wishes for every soc 2008 applicant.
