  1. Looking ahead to options for next year - does anyone know the average number of applicants and the number accepted to Lakehead's 1 year BSW program?
  2. How did you find out they filled 15/30 spots? - Did you talk to someone at the school? My status hasn't changed on my Uwindsor account. I'm still on the wait-list at U of T as well...wishing this process wasn't so stressful and drawn out
  3. I'm also on the wait list at U of T and waiting to hear from Windsor. I would accept at Windsor but probably wait a month or so to see if the wait list at U of T moves at all before making concrete plans to move there, etc
  4. Of the people on this forum, how many of you applied to windsor and how many plan on attending if they get accepted? Anyone heard anything other than rejections from Windsor? It's the last school I'm waiting to hear from...
  5. Has anyone got ACCEPTED to Windsor yet? Or are they sending out acceptances by mail and rejections by email?
  6. Does anyone know the schools in Canada that offer a 1 year BSW? So far I have only been able to find Lakehead and University of Waterloo. I'm on the waitlist for U of T but preparing to have to re-apply next year. I plan to apply to the 2-year MSW again but may also considering applying to the 1 year BSW as well...that way it increases my chances of getting accepted to something and moving forward with my career. I graduated with a 4 year Honours Legal Studies degree from University of Waterloo as an "Academic All-Canadian" (being a varsity athlete and maintaining an 80% average). I have over 2 years of work experience (more if you combine all the hours worked at the jobs together) working as a Respite Care Worker for children with behaviour and mental issues and autism, a Direct Care Worker in a residential treatment program (group home) and at a Youth Secure Custody Facility.
  7. Wait-listed for U of T. Was anyone who was accepted to U of T rejecting their offer? I am currently doing a research methods course online (I didn't take one in undergrad as my major was legal studies and it wasn't required). Do you think it's best that I finish this course as soon as possible so that if a spot opens up and they review my file they have the mark for this course? Anyone know when we should hear from York or Windsor?
