I was just rejected from Minnesota. I was so sure I was in.. Sigh.....

You are so right! I received an offer yesterday.. But another rejection today.. I am still waiting on 4 schools and preparing for more rejections.

I feel totally unmotivated.. My thesis is taking a major hit from these rejections...

I am starting to freak out because I see some of my programs starting to accept people ( on the results page). Still waiting....

I cannot imagine only applying to 2 or 3 programs. After getting rejected from my first and last choice I'm wondering if this is a bad omen of sorts.... Maybe I just need to prepare for a plan B. It's pretty hard to have hope during this process. Good luck you all!

I just got rejected from my number one choice. This week is starting to suck a lot! How many schools did you apply to?

Hi All- I have taken to GRE over a number of times and still have a low score. I plan on applying to PhD programs this year for 2014. Should I continue to try for a higher score?
