  1. Wow, this is excruciating- just got the following mail: "I'm sorry to keep pushing this along, but our space is very tight. We have a few more people with later deadlines (mid-month), so I will be in touch again in a couple of weeks." I don't have that much time to decide!
  2. Hahaha, I got the same letter. But what I find strange is that I know tons of people who are just starting off with their jobs and apply then (so they'd have a year by the time they end up going) and get in. This not accepting people straight from undergrad is really quite a policy they seem to follow stringently. It's a bummer because I wanted to the dual program at SIPA and J-School. Now I'm going to have to head to J-School and pick where I wanna go for International Affairs next.
  3. Hey, So I've been accepted too, but the catch is that I've been accepted into the GSAS MA International Relations program as well. I believe the latter is better. Your thoughts?
  4. Hey guys, This is a super late post compared to how long you guys have been holding discussions here for, but I am a newbie to the grad cafe and just recently figured it out. I too was wait-listed at Georgetown. I was wondering how many of you got the email from Tara Campbell asking if you were still interested, and if any of you know when we are likely to hear from them by. Further there's another thing I've been fretting about, which is how lenient they are in terms of granting deferrals, especially to people who've been admitted off the wait-list. Any thoughts? Oh, and Congratulations to you all on your numerous wonderful offers!
