      I did have it off and got paid. So I then went to my side job and worked a full day there. How have you never had it off?

      idk. but I remember in 5th grade, I thought MLK was a school holiday, so I didn't show up to class, and it was really awkward going to walmart that was right across the street from my school, and it was recess

      LOL. Yeah my understanding is it is a recognized holiday, but businesses/schools have the option of closing.
