Yes, released means you are back in the pool. What is the difference between "held" and "matched". I imagine they both mean a employer is reviewing an application.

What was your "employee status" before you were sponsored? (i.e. matched, held, released)?

From what I got from last year, "HELD" is a good thing. Students are usually interviewed after they are "HELD".

I applied. My status went from "matched" to "held". From previous years discussion. This means my application is "in review" by a company. Anyone else?

I am really considering it. I think the MCB program is really strong. Although Yale is giving me a better stipend.
