Okay, the latest Germany has ever heard is 4/10, which was a Thursday. That was in 2008. Second-latest was April 6th, which was a Tuesday. Those days actually correspond to the calendar this year (4/10 is a Thursday) so I guess we could certainly hear next week instead of this week.

I know y'all think I am probably stirring the pot, but I actually do think Germany might hear today... I'm encouraged by all these European notifications, and statistically they have never let us know later than this Tuesday except for ONE year when it was ridiculously late.

Man I have to say, no matter what, being on this forum has really kept me a bit saner than I would have been... I was able to predict notification dates, know what email I'd be seeing no matter what the outcome, and am prepared for that dreaded SUBJECT LINE designation... Thanks guys

Not to be a debbie downer but I don't think it means much. I got my results a few days ago and still nothing from the Fulbright... They've also never reported results on a Friday according to past records. I'm guessing we'll hear next week. Sucks.

You guys had an interview for Fulbright? I didn't lol. I had an audition though because I applied as a classical singer.

I was reading some of the old threads and I saw a few people mentioning having both DAAD and Fulbright, so I'm not sure if that is true...

I'm feeling the same way. Rejected from DAAD, rather disappointing, so I'm guessing Fulbright might not happen for me now. Sigh.

Hi! I don't know for sure but I would imagine if it's related to your Fulbright, you would be able to travel freely and not count it towards your "time off". However, I'm sure you can ask someone once you find out if you have gotten it!

Ugh. I just don't know what to do regarding my other offer if it's going to be that much longer. The Fulbright is definitely more desirable, but I don't know how much longer I can put them off. Should I just accept and then go back on it? That seems so messed up to do.

How so, because we haven't heard? I'm honestly very annoyed. They already posted the statistics, so obviously decisions are made, and the fact is, even if we win, we have to apply to Hochschule by April 15th (most likely) to get the deadline in for fall (if you're doing a study scholarship). Also, many other decisions are in so people are being forced to make decisions without all the information! gah! It has to be this week though... I'm going to go nuts otherwise. Last year they heard on a Wednesday, so maybe it will be tomorrow? I assumed today since so many years prior had been a Tuesday. I'm guessing it's kind of late in the day at this point, though.

Hah I know I'm just making my blood pressure go wild. Ugh I'm frustrated though, I thought for sure it'd be today...
