I would love to connect with other members of my future cohort.

I got accepted to Temple's School Psych program too, I remember speaking to you during the interview day! I haven't decided to accept the offer yet because I am still weighing my options with different programs. But, PM me so we can connect. I will also be attending the "admitted graduate students" thing in March.

    Hi, everyone!

I applied to PhD programs at Northeastern, Columbia, Fordham, UC Santa Barbara, and UVA. I've interviewed for UCSB and got invited for another interview later this month, and I'll be interviewing at UVA next month! I got rejected from Northeastern's PhD program, but I've been offered an interview for the master's program. I still haven't heard from Columbia or Fordham, though! I know Fordham's still isn't due yet, so has anyone heard from Columbia?

If anyone is going to the UCSB interview day or the UVA one next month, let me know! Also, congrats to everyone on their interviews!

The same thing happened to me with Northeastern. It seems that they accept students from their master's program and rarely from outside of that. I'm not sure about attending the interview invite though, I might just because I spent the money applying.

  3. Hi there,
I'm applying to both PhD and PsyD programs in the Northeast USA. I've applied to UMass Boston, Temple University, Northeastern, & St. John's. I primarily picked these programs because they are social-justice oriented and value cultural diversity. My number one is St John's because I am currently living in NYC, and the move wouldn't be drastic for me. I also have my connections in NYC. I did consider applying to EdS programs, but quite frankly, the funding is abysmal.
I used the NASP website to find the programs I wanted, I used their search function to see if programs are funded and the acceptance amount/total number of people applied. After using this data and looking at program websites - it really helped me trim down my list of potential 15 schools to a solid 7.
Even though I've finished my applications, I'm still feeling a lot of anxiety. The wait is agonizing.
