I am also accepted with scholarship!!! CAN'T BELIEVE THISSSSSS. And I am half world away so I am not attending the admit weekend.

I just hope we hear back today and don't have to wait the whole weekend...

I would think higher, but let's see when the results are known. If it's 40 percent, then for IEP only 35 people apply (since 14 get accepted), I think it is much lower than 40 %, but I have no proof, just my guess.

On website it also says March 1st for STEP, but the decisons were much earlier. So hoping we hear earlier.

I am saying next 24 hours based on results search from last years. I meant let's say you find out Thursday during the day, which is Friday morning for where I live, so it is same amount of waiting hours, but later for me in a way )))

I think next 24 hours sounds right. I am 8 hours away from Stanford time, so a bit longer for me, but still going crazy.

I have applied to International Educational Development program and can't wait for the decisions. Mid March seems accurate. Well, patience for another 3 weeks.

So, back then I was 17, just started my sociology undergrad in Armenia, and there was this World Congress of Sociology happening at my university in Armenia and Wallerstein was present. I just got back from US after studying one year in high school, so because of my English skills I was approached to volunteer and help guests. For the opening ceremony, I approached his wife and him and asked to take front row, he kindly refused, saying he is fine sitting in the back as well. He also gave a lecture for the students and we interacted at the sessions. Amazing memories. Back then I didn't even realize how big he is!

I love Wallerstein and met him when I was in my first year of undergrad. Then of course Foucault, Bourdieu.

I submitted my application for IEDP about a week ago, and one of my references hasn't submitted yet. Are my chances less, because I submitted late? Any ideas?

I don't have that option either. I am also international student.
