Yes, I quite agree. It wouldn't make sense to repeat the subjects that I've already done in undergrad. That being said, I think I'd focus on the Micro waiver first (which is a requirement), and I can probably think of taking some of the other waiver exams once I'm done with Micro. It's been almost two years since I left college, and I need to revise quite a bit, hence the worry! But thanks for the kind words..I hope you're right!

@wintersolstice- that's great, good luck ! I understand that but from what I know, taking waiver exams for non pre-requisite classes means that we would have to replace them with advanced level Econ classes. I'm not sure if I want to do that right away...Although I did Econ as my undergraduate degree, I'm worried about the waiver exam too... I'd emailed SAIS iDEV asking if they had any materials/sample questions for the waiver exam. They said they didn't ... I would love to hear from any current students who have appeared for these exams...

I'm a little confused here. I thought everyone was either supposed to take pre term classes or the waiver exam? I know iDEV requires only micro as a prerequisite? But ya, I hear ya, I don't want to take the pre-term course too...I don't think I can spend any more money :/ @wintersolstice- what concentration were you admitted to? And why are you deferring?

I've also accepted my offer at SAIS Bologna ... Ive spoken to a couple of current students/alumni and they've been really helpful.....I've been accepted to the IDEV but I'm required to take the intermediate Microeconomics waiver exam before fall. The SAIS website gives a rough idea of the syllabus and the exam, however, I'd like to know more about the waiver exam.... Is anyone else going to be taking it? If yes, how are you preparing for it?

When I checked yesterday I didn't have an update on my status...and now it's showing the error message just like for lingdiankuangtu.. This waiting is torture .. Aargh!

I haven't heard from SIPA yet. I even checked the online app and it says ' submitted' ?.ive applied for the MPA.. Should I be worried ?

IHEID seems so far away! I just got accepted with some funding to Johns Hopkins SAIS! I don't feel too bad about Geneva anymore SAIS is a better fit for me anyway !

I was admitted to IDEV as well.. I also got a financial aid email a little while ago wherein they are offering me 10K euros for the first year

Hi Everyone! I've been reading (stalking actually!) this thread for a long time. I thought I'd write once I knew the IHEID decision. My decision is the same as all of yours.. Says accepted in the email but refused on the online portal. This totally sucks . I only hope that the online portal is wrong :/
