    Don't cry, sweetie. It's going to be okay. I think you can definitely try again. If you want those hard, prestigious schools, then you need higher GRE scores.

    Can I retake it in November? The only thing is, my PhD applications are due in December. It only takes 2 weeks for the scores to arrive. I can ensure that they arrive before December's deadlines. Any advice? I'm terrified about this exam.

    I have about 10-12 so far, but somehow, I don't feel that this is enough. If someone has an MA from a really good university, how many schools? What about just a BA?
