  1. Still waiting on 2 schools. One extended their deadline to 1/31 and neither have shown up on the results search here. I would imagine that decisions will be coming in this week or next

  3. Oh yeah that was done as soon as I got the email. The materials had been in already; the issue was that my MA/MLIS transcripts were one doc and they were expecting 2
  4. On Jan 17th I got an email from Clark saying that my application was incomplete (a mix up about my transcripts from my double masters) but that "Although the deadline has passed, we have extended it for students applying to your program. We encourage you to submit these materials to complete your application as soon as possible." Is that a standard email, or are they indicating they received a lower number of applicants than expected? The rejection from my safety program has gotten me reeling today so I suppose I am grasping for reasons to feel encouraged that I will get in somewhere.
  5. UMASS results are in today. I got rejected unfortunately. I thought I was a solid fit but I guess it's not to be.
  6. Lurker here finally deciding to post. I worked full time while doing a double Master's program (MA/MLIS) and also doing a 1 semester internship and 1 semester certification program. It is completely do-able if you are strict on time management but I have to say my ability to network suffered greatly. My grades were fine for my most part (3.7) but I wasn't able to devote time to research that my cohorts were able to and I certainly wasn't able to develop the relationships with profs that they were because I wasn't on campus as much. Now that I am applying to PhD programs, I am concerned that my reference letters and application isn't as strong as my fellow applicants.
