It seems like a lot of people are waiting on Penn. A lot of people who got into amazing schools as well so I'm not feeling too great about my chances. Also, a large number of these people seem to be doing exactly what I'm doing and there are only 1-2 open spots per year for this focus. Oh well, I'll give it another shot next cycle. Anyone have any idea on what I should do next year? Cane14, you might be onto something with the whole building a school in Cambodia thing. If I do that, someone HAS to take me next year, right?

Congrats to all of the Yale admits, especially packrat! Didn't Chicago say that they would send out rejections by the 18th? It's kind of funny how terrible they have been throughout this whole process.

I didn't get an acceptance and my status on the website says that a decision has not been rendered yet. I'm assuming you're the same? I think it's a rejection and the website just hasn't been updated for everyone. I emailed them, no response yet.

This is great advice, thanks everyone. My cycle is not over but I'm starting to get the feeling that I'm going to be shut out. This thread makes me feel better, you all seem to have done very well on your second cycles.

You're referring to the first acceptance posted on the results board, correct? It says American/Theory. I'm assuming it's theory because everyone who got their acceptance around that time was Theory. Even the IR admits came later.

So far it seems like the acceptances that were sent out last week were only for IR and Theory. The rejections that were on the website this morning were only for Comparative. I think the American and Comparative decisions are not finalized yet but I've emailed the department so we'll see.

Yup same here. Congrats to all of the admits, it's an amazing program.

I just hate Mourinho so much, especially after what he said about Arsene last week. Also, he tried to poke out someone's eye out while on the pitch.

It's not like Mourinho takes over mid table teams and make them great either. Both of them only manage top teams with ridiculous resources and I doubt that that will ever change. I think that both of them are overrated but I rate Pep more, mainly because Morinho's style can be like watching paint dry at times.

Even at the one school I applied to where acceptances and rejections have gone out, I still haven't heard back. This is so frustrating.

I still can't figure out which University the C in CHYMPS stands for. I think I'll call Northwestern in a little bit to see what's going on.

Chicago lied. Also, I'm really starting to regret only applying to 7 schools and only applying to one schools outside of the top 20 especially since my POIs at a couple of.programs are 70 or over.

Aren't we supposed to get the rejections from Chicago today? Nothing yet..

Looking at the results from previous years, Columbia's rejection email is one of the nicer ones so it'll be nice to get that.

What is this about Columbia sending out at 2pm?
