@nubbin, I know and I have already pushed away really close friends from home, or really limited my time with them and blamed it on school and being busy. The jealousy is just too difficult to deal with, like I want to be around people when I choose to and then when I don't want to I just don't. Like I have a very small window of when I am feeling ok enough to handle them. Still working on that in therapy.

@midwestern, lol I think she will text me occasionally but we will be living in two states that aren't close. Only way I would really care about staying in contact is if I decide to move there after graduation. It is something i have thought about because of the attractive men, good job market and it is a southern state so it is warm. I would have her as a contact but that is a major "what if"

Good for you sticking with therapy. Other good news is understanding when jealousy is getting the better of you and limiting interaction when that happens. I hope you can eventually look at people who have what you want as potential models. You might learn from how they navigate successful relationships. Don't avoid people who have what you want altogether. Good luck.
