Very true. I just don't feel like an adult. I still say immature stuff all the time. But yesterday I met a 1st year who is right out of college and she reminded me of myself so much! But then I remember that I am 24 and almost 25, I just feel so old lol

Case is pretty focused on clinical work

So I haven't been on in forever and a day! School kept me so busy last year but here I am! In my last year of grad school! Who would have thought?! So I was thinking back on some of the super dumb stuff I posted and I can't believe I said some of that stuff (I am still desperately searching for a husband before I turn 25 in December and I don't include that in the stupid stuff I have said). Anyways I am getting so anxious for graduation and finishing and finding a job how do I calm it down? I am already freaking out over the licensing exam and I started studying this Summer. I am panicked I am going to be a big kid in this world now... which is scary because I don't feel like a big kid, I don't have a big kid life.

One more paper to write and turn in and I will have finished my first year of grad school yay!! Still haven't found that husband though... bummer.

Why is everyone in grad school either married or in relationships? Why do I have the displeasure of having to constantly meet them? Where are the fun people?!

See; sometimes I wish I could be one of "the fun people." I'm glad I'm in a relationship, and I love my kids, but I don't have the time and energy to be "fun," and for that and other reasons it's kind of difficult relating to the people in my program who are only in their mid-to-late twenties and don't have kids.

Being in a long distance relationship is the dumbest thing I've ever done I need constant attention from a guy not like never attention.

It's not wrong to admit that I want attraction and if a guy doesn't catch my eye I'm not going to go out of my way to get romantically involved. It's no different than anything anyone else said. I admit maybe I should have worded it better or explained but when you initially see someone you see what they look like not their personality. Personality is important but for me I will figure that out later I want to go to the hottie before I want to go to the not hottie. I mean let's be honest. I am a shallow person and I admit it, I would likely stick it out with a less than ideal personality before I would go for what I think is less than attractive. So when I said if they are unattractive I don't want to get to know them... I was being honest. If you don't like it... too bad I don't care about you or your opinion of me

To me physical attraction is the most important thing. Like I'm probably not going to pay attention to you if you don't attract me with your looks. All that depends on the person as to whose attractive and who isn't though. I try to avoid going below a 6 in my dating scale

So I sent an email to an internship site and he said it is likely they will offer me a placement but he can't fully go into detail yet until towards the end of the week. So I still need to give a response by Weds to one place without knowing about the other!? Panicked!!!!

Hey don't worry one of my first posts was about finding a husband in grad school and a large number of people on here were totally douchey to me. You want what you want and grad school takes up a lot of time and effort which can suck for people who want to be married and have families before they are old and gray! Good luck!!

OP I totally understand where you are coming from.. I have been on OKC, POF, tinder, Coffee Meets Bagels, Hinge and Match. I personally didn't like OKC because the people it kept matching me to were not attractive in my opinion. POF has better options with regard to attractiveness it is also infamous for being a hookup site so I would be careful of that. OKC is not a bad website and there are some attractive people I just feel like the amount of attractive people was low. It all depends on opinion though. Good luck and meet up is a good source for finding activities that could lead you to someone.

Is it acceptable to email a field placement and ask when they will reach a decision? I have an offer from one place I really like but I would like to know if my top choice is accepting me. I have until Weds to give an answer to the first offer
