I'm waiting on SIUE although I've already accepted a spot at SLU. SIUe would just be much more convenient and cost effective. I called last week and they said that there were still a few spots left to fill, so hopefully I'll hear either way before I start classes at SLU!

Hi! I'm Emilee, just turned 21 last week. I'm a senior at University of Illinois, majoring in Speech Path with a minor in Sociology. I took a full load of classes every semester so I was able to graduate in 3 years. I've worked at the campus daycare all throughout college and volunteer tutor at some local schools. I'm getting married June 7th and have been trying to manage school, work, grad school apps, and the wedding. All I can focus on is getting to move into the house we bought after graduating in May! I only applied to 3 schools (since we can't move because of fiance's job), waitlisted at 2 and rejected from 1. I'll probably just end up working wherever I can for a little while and have a kid then decide if I want to try and go back to school. Just trying to stay optimistic now and get my mind off of it all!

SIUE is also my top choice, I can't wait until we find out!

Hi! Nice to meet a fellow Illinoisian! lol I am applying to SIUE, SLU, and Fontebonne (live in Edwardsville, so they are all close). I've noticed that most of the schools around here aren't quite as competitive as some of the well known schools so that's nice but I'm still freaking out lol Good luck to you and maybe I'll see you in class next year! lol
