Dear everyone, I am applying to a PhD program in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering from a university in the United State.I am having a problem about the supplementary questions which will be used for helping graduate admission evaluating my applications. First, it asked me to fill out the research publications. Secondly, it asked my to fill out the name of the professors that I am interested in working with. Finally,...the last section asked me whether there is additional information I wish to share with the school. Well, I have no problem with the first two questions, but the last one is .... well what should I write. Do you think that it is OK to left BLANK for this part? Or Do you think it is better to write something down. My first idea was to write about how my previous research had influenced my direction about future research and choosing professor. However, it is true that my vision about my research and professor's research can be wrong. I mean, in fact, I cannot predict what the professor is thinking and indeed, my idea cannot be precise about the research of the professor. My answer can be something cliche or not interesting or even showing my misconception, so ... what do you think. Thank you for taking time, and your replies. Sn tina

I am an international student, and I was at frenzy when submitting my application. I realize that I should apply as early as possible. However, I had made a huge mistake. In the 15th of January, I submitted my application, but before paying my application fee, my computer was going to shut down. So I closed all of the windows, including the one that asked me to submit my application fee. I rejected the payment because I thought that I could go back and submit it later, but I was wrong. Currently, I cannot login into my account, because the website said that my application was done. Well,... how can it be .... After this terrible moment due to my mistake, I wrote an email explaining about what had happened to grad admission, but due to the peak season of the deadline, I got an automatic reply saying that I have to wait for five or ten business days. Do you think that I should make a call to the grad admission or wait for the reply. Thank you for any suggestion. I do like this grad school because i found a lot of professors who share the same interest as mine, but it seems that I will probably be rejected from getting into the school.
