How was Columbia's? SOPHAS took all the money I would have used for travel.

MPH, generalist track. It's rolling admissions and the final deadline is in August, so you have time to decide whether or not you want to add it to your SOPHAS stuff.

Mine were also mailed out on 10/30 (today). I e-submitted 10/22, undelivered 10/27, and re-e-submitted 10/27....it's been a struggle with SOPHAS. I applied to Columbia, NYU, Mt. Sinai, BU, Rutgers, UPenn, Emory, Berkeley (ALA MATER! But wishful thinking...)
I really hope I get in somewhere haha. I'm wavering between confidence and complete despair now that I'm playing the waiting game. I'll reveal my stats when and if I get accepted.
Edit: I applied to a wide range of programs but half of them are epi, the other half would take too much effort for me to list out... I haven't decided if I want to pursue an MD at this stage, but I definitely want a PhD.

If that's the case, I don't understand why SOPHAS can't forward the official transcripts to the schools. Submitting an official transcript and entering coursework seems so redundant.

I graduated a year ago with a 2.8 GPA from a top university (honestly don't know if this holds any weight at all). Post-graduation I've gained 1 year of research experience (with one publication and poster to show for it), volunteered for about half a year at a major non-profit in which I got really involved, and some shadowing experience. My GRE scores are decent - competitive at some schools, average at others. I just submitted (or rather, re-submitted...damn SOPHAS undelivered my stuff...) my application and I'm hoping for the best. Your story brought me some hope. Wish me luck. I'm really anxious.

I'm super anxious. Finishing early means extra waiting time. It's slowly killing me.
