11/13/2013- Administrative Interview interviewed with 2 folks, they were well in tune with american culture. asked me primarily the following questions: - why KAUST? - Did I apply to other uni in the region? - Family background - my background - Hobbies (books read, movies watched) *point I should make is after discussion with the academic director, I switched my application over to Biosciences. not sure what the next step is, should have asked this question in hindsight. Will update when information becomes available.

11/06/13 interviewed with director of department over skype, recommended me to admissions. will update when i get more information.

From the states, new to gradcafe. Finished applying for KAUST in saudi arabia for Spring 2014; submitted 10/18/13 deadline was today 11/01/13 for the Spring 2014 session. anyone else apply? I read on wikipedia they have a very low acceptance rate. but very little information on this program is available. PhD in Environmental Science and Engineering. looking to see if more information surfaces.
