I am so surprised... I assumed if Montreal got theirs we would get ours today.. .The pressure is increasing for me, I need to know either way

This is so interesting, I didn't know that. Did any of you learn your department ranking? They don't share that in our department (guessing for morale reasons).

I woke up at 430 this morning thinking about SSHRC. I'm trying to wait until they tweet before emailing. Let us know if anyone hears from their awards office.

I don't think it's going to happen today ... Even if they tweet my awards officer will be gone by now... ugh...

Omg I'm so sorry to read this. I remember how crazy the masters thesis is. Fingers crossed for you. I'm expecting sshrc is going to tweet tomorrow based on the last 2 years. Feeling incredibly stressed.

I didn't realize this was the case until today. I have OGS and really rely on it financially.

I heard this from a PhD student.

I also heard this at a meeting today... that OGS may be cut for Sept. due to govt cuts. ?

Hi everyone, I'm waiting impatiently as well. I was wait listed last year and I really hope it works out for me this time around. One of my references isn't optimistic... ugh. Anyway, last year after sshrc tweeted I emailed my awards officer and they told me the results over email. So you must not have to wait for snail mail. The last 2 years I think sshrc tweeted the last friday of April so I hope this friday will be the day!

Congrats!! I was also wait listed but haven't heard anything. i contacted SSHRC but I was like #60 on the list so didn't have any hopes at all. I did make it out of school for 2019/2020 so hoping I get something this year!

I just found out today that I was wait listed for OGS as well. I'm pretty surprised - several faculty members thought I would get one because I was wait listed for SSHRC. My heart is breaking all over again UGH!

Hi wondering if you've heard anything? I just sent a subsequent email because my initial request was sent April 30.

Has anyone gotten any info 're the wait list? I'm in committee 5 social work/geography. I sent sshrc an email but haven't heard back.

I'm seeing from previous posters that it's very unlikely to get off waitlist, as people have been waitlisted several years in a row.

I emailed awards office Friday and they just got back to me... soooo disappointed
