It's happened twice, but the worst time was when I submitted an application on time,but the website logged it as submitted a day late. Trying not to panic. I have proof that it was submitted on time (a confirmation email was emailed before the deadline was up saying that the school received my application). But still! Anything like this happened to anyone??? I contacted the school and let them know the issue.

I have not written the complete thesis. However, I feel that I would need to include a bibliography of the sources I reference because my writing sample includes primary sources that they might want to reference. Perhaps I should footnote it to indicate this is not the final bibliography for the thesis???

Anyone?

My writing sample is a 20 page excerpt from a MUCH longer thesis (still in progress, actually). Obviously the final bibliography would not be done for a while.... So do I give a bibliography for the sample I am sending? Does that count in the page count?

So I missed a deadline for an application fee request but it seems that they are still considering them as I could still submit it. But does the fact that I'm late with just that part reflect badly and would the admissions committee see it, thereby hurting my chances at admission?

Hello all, I am brand new here on the forums. I'm currently applying to schools for Middle Eastern/Near Eastern studies, and I'm a good candidate (I know this from feedback and from my research and linguistic skills). But honestly, even though my advisor told me last week that I am the best student that he has ever taught (he wasn't joking either) and even though I have a clear research interest, research experience and plenty of languages under my belt, I just have this irrational fear that it's all going to fall through. Does anyone else go through this? I just submitted my first application and am getting ready to submit the rest and I'm starting to go slightly crazy....
