Does anyone know anything about the PhD program at Umass Boston? I don't see it in any of the rankings....Is it a good program?

I'll be at W&M starting this fall....for the MPP program....

No I am an international applicant.....Do you know when waitlisted candidates get to know about their status.....And any idea if people have been accepted from the waitlist....Moreover, how many applicants did they waitlist.....?

Yea...any information would be great.... I was also wondering how much should one expect to spend on groceries per month. I currently live in Europe, and have heard from people that shopping for food in the US is quite cheap compared to the other side of the Atlantic. Would $200 be enough for one month? Moreover, how is Williamsburg as a town.

got into William and Mary's master's program in Pub Pol. Tuition waived, $10,000 assistantship for 9 months! would that be enough to cover all expenses?

How difficult is it to survive in Boston with around $1200 a month (including housing, food, etc..)...I'll be a grad student at Umass Boston

Regarding interview, I have mine next week. I know from other people that I'm going to be asked "Why PhD and not Masters". What would be a good answer to that?

I've been placed in the waitlist at Pardee RAND Graduate School for a PhD in Policy Analysis. Does anyone have any idea about the likelihood of getting into RAND through waitlist. How often do they take students from the waitlist? Should I have any hope at all?
