  1. Same here, still waiting on 1 school post interview. Even though I've pretty much decided where to go I'm also waiting for a couple acceptance packets to come in the mail so I can decline offers with their official forms, haha.
  2. Although I only did in-person interviews I completely agree. There are a lot aspects to the recruitment process in addition to the formal 30-min interviews. It may not count as much but any interactions with the faculty, staff, and students at lunches/dinners and throughout the interview day play a part in making an impression, so folks who interview in-person naturally have this advantage.
  3. It was a mass email to 10 interviewees (I'm surprised they didn't BCC).
  4. I just got a Stanford Biosciences (MCP) interview! It looks like each department has a different timeline so there's still hope!
  5. Too bad I'm in the midwest and don't have car. Unless they help me out I'm afraid I'll have to turn it down. =(
  6. I just got an interview invite for UCLA - MCIP (one of the ACCESS home areas) and the email doesn't sound like they'll provide transportation/airfare. Does anyone know if UCLA only provides overnight accommodations, but not transportation?
  7. Some schools with Dec 1 deadlines ask you to contact them after Dec 10 or Dec 15 if your materials are incomplete, or at least a couple weeks after you've sent your items. I would look through their emails or websites to see if they say anything explicit, or ask them immediately (sooner rather than waiting) if they don't specify when. Nov 22 wasn't that long ago, and the mailing/processing time could have slowed during the holidays (plus Baylor's deadline is Jan 1) so I wouldn't worry for now.
  8. I finally finished my apps last night! Time to make my first post: Undergrad Institution: Top 15 private university in the midwest Major(s): Biology, Anthropology GPA in Major: 3.4ish.
