A friend of mine let me know that they got into Iowa off the wait list yesterday, so my guess is he/she posted that one.

I feel all jittery just like at the start of the application season.

Arizona State (MA): Offers (5 of 6 applicants got into one or more of the following places): 1 Indiana-Bloomington, 1 U IL Chicago,1 Northwestern, 1 Kansas University, 1 U of Nebraska-Lincoln and 2 Arizona State. I think only 1 applicant was shut out this year. Wait lists: 1 U of British Columbia, 1 Iowa and 1 U Michigan.

So... anyone declining offers this week?

I'm leaning this way because I like the idea of getting settled in before I get overwhelmed with work, but of course it depends on the $crilla. I'm also concerned about finding places to live. It seems to me a lot of students will be moving out in late spring/early summer and so one might have the best options then.

Are you concerned about costs like zizek, or do you just like to live wildly?

For those that will be relocating, are most of you thinking of moving mid to late summer or perhaps earlier? later?

If it's an unsolicited visit, I'm not sure. Probably the director of graduate studies or the director of admissions (for graduate studies).

Anyone here visiting U of Michigan April 1st?

I suppose my post should have gone here. I was wait listed at Michigan Ann Arbor. I was also asked to visit the campus during prospective's week (they would flip the bill). Is this a normal thing?

Thank you! I received an email today telling me that they tried to call me. It was from David Manley and said the waitlist was short. I also have an offer to visit the campus during prospectives week. This is a real surprise for sure.

I received an email letting me know that I was on a short waitlist for Michigan Ann Arbor. I believe they tried to call me a day or two ago, but my phone wasn't working.

I posted a similar thread sometime ago because I recall seeing a list of funding packages from different schools on some website. Anyway, I know there was once one out there, but I've no idea how to get there again.

Just speculating, but perhaps it's based to some extent on AOI's.
