  1. Also just just got Stanford Biosciences. Genetics home program.
  2. Just saw that and checked my email. Nothing… I guess the rest of my afternoon will be refreshing my email.
  3. I'm not sure, but I don't think so. For what it's worth, I put down Stem Cells and Bioinformatics.
  4. UCSD BMS sent out interview invites in mid-December. Not sure if they have another round of invites or not. Dates are Feb 6-9 and Feb 27-Mar 2.
  5. Got my invite this morning. Considering the second weekend, just so that I can fit MIT biology without rescheduling elsewhere in case I get it. But I worry that second weekend might have a lower acceptance rate?
  6. Yeah, the biochem subject test looked really hard. I was feeling overly confident and decided to do a quick review the day before. Sat down for about 10 minutes before deciding that I wasn't going to show up the next day.

First was a cancer biology lab studying signaling pathways. Second was a computational neuro-imaging group studying brain cancer. Third was an epigenetics lab studying histone modifications. Have been working as a research assistant in the last lab since graduating in 2012. Awards/Honors/Recognitions: Nothing great. Cum Laude, Dean's List, Undergraduate Research Grant Any Miscellaneous Accomplishments that Might Help: No published papers, but two in review and one in preparation. Special Bonus Points: I've been lucky to get to work in the labs of some of the best PI's in their respective fields, all at great institutions. LORs are very strong.
