most probably i will be fully funded so there is no need to worry about aid from schools.
-
And georgetown mspp allows to defer for one year without any explanation and whenever you want to do it (before or after accepting admission), which is quite nice policy. On the other hand you are loosing all the fellowship money and you are considered for it once more together with next incoming class.

I am still thinking which school should I choose. My heart says Georgetown, my head says SAIS

Hi, Did anyone resigned from pursuing the degree after confirming enrollment (e.g. because of getting out of the waitlist at another university)? I understand that is such a situation I will lose the deposit but I am wondering whether there can be any other problems associated with that.
-
I am now deciding between Georgetown MSPP and SAIS and last week I accidently met former president of my country (who was teaching at Georgetown SFS). He said that probably the best decision would be to toss a coin

Chances of MPP/MPA with NO public work experience

If you have a compelling story and good rationale behind applying (i.e. you know what your passion is and why do you need MPP degree right now) then you will be accepted to good schools -
You are certainly not waitlisted right now. I think that they are just still evaluating your application.
-
Just received update. Waitlisted
-
Weeks? I hope that they will release results till the end of this week.

I am still waiting for my admission decision, but I was accepted to SAIS so I am wondering whether it is actually better (or not) school than SIPA.
-
Anyone is still waiting for admission decision?
-
Full work experience would be nice, but I was accepted this year to SAIS straight from undergrad so I think that you can also make it
-
Hi, Actually I care a lot about name recognition, because I am aiming at coming back to my country. Therefore, I would be nice if my degree would be recognized as a good one internationally.

Hi, I was accepted both to SAIS (MA) and Georgetown MSPP (MPP) and I am still waiting for decision from SIPA. I was applying staight from undergrad (though I have extensive part-time work experience) and I would like to focus on energy policy. Most probably I do not need to worry about fellowships. Therefore, I would simply like to know which program is the best I will be grateful for your input

also rejected

Last year they posted similar post one day before releasing MPP decisions. Thus, I think that they will be released by the end of this week. I have also noticed that yesterday "preview application proof" disappeared from my system so apparently they are doing something with it
-
SIPA website says that the results will be announced on 18th March.
-
I think that you are not the only one

Gov2School: I understand that MPP and MPA/ID are different programs and there is a greater quant focus at the second one but I am wondering whether adcoms judge GREs similarly across different programs (especially if someone is not a native English speaker).
-
Hi, I have just spotted a post from HKS blog saying: What do you think of it? I mean, whether they really care only about quant score? If so, do you think the same holds for other programs i.e. MPP?
-
But the deadline is 7th or they can be delivered later?

How do you submit your transcripts? Is it possible to send them scanned copies via e-mail?
