I actually really disagree with this statement. Whether or not you feel like these paintings fit into the scope of contemporary art is one thing, but I don't think there is an obvious lack of formal understanding.

the mike kelley retrospective is also the only time in the history of ps1 that the entire facility was dedicated to just one artist.

Does anyone/everyone in here still have the "MFA" on their Columbia slideroom? Trying to figure out if I should be optimistic or if they just haven't changed any of the sculpture area applications yet.
