I have already submitted my tuition deposit to NYU (last weekend) and I have just now found out that I have been accepted to USC. Now I have no idea what to do. Or how i would go unenrolling at NYU if I do change my mind.
I am going for a masters in Biomedical Engineering
NYU: Bioinstrumentation
USC: Medical Device and Diagnostic Engineering
UGHHH Decisions.
Does anyone have any opinions on the graduate dorms for NYU? I have been trying to look at my options (for engineering at NYU) and I have been finding that some of the buildings are only for certain programs. So I am not all that sure what my options really are. I wanted to live in an apartment style but I'm not so sure anymore.
Any help or other information about living and going to NYU would be much appreciated!
It also has asked me to fill out an "enrollment and housing form". This is a little confusing and cruel that they are sending me strange emails without a decision
I don't entirely know how the financial aid process usually goes since I did not use it for undergrad (and I'm not sure I'm planning to for grad), but one of the schools I applied to sent me an email to fill it out. The thing I find strange is that the school has still not yet given me an admission decision. Could this affect their decision, or could it be holding it up? Or is it possibly just a bit of spam/mass email?
Just wondering if anyone has heard from these schools for Biomedical Engineering masters programs. I haven't seen any posts on the results page for UCI or NYU masters BMEs. But I think the USC ones may have gone out.
Anybody else still waiting? Has anyone inquired to the admissions about their timeline?
my NYU Poly app said I was missing documents for a couple days in march. I emailed the coordinator for my department and they responded that they just had to match up the transcripts from the grad admissions department and not to worry. Now my app says it is complete and under review but in another line still says incomplete. Although it now lists all the components (like transcripts, gre scores etc) and says received next to them
What website have you guys been using to check admission status? the application page says I have a message and to unblock pop-ups but I did that and still haven't seen a message. Maybe this is just some sort of fluke.
Somehow going to class has become a relief to get me away from my computer. I still haven't heard from any of the 5 schools I applied to for masters in biomedical engineering.. Ugh.
